Recruitment

Becoming a Carer at Care Relief Team means you will be joining a growing team of, highly skilled and experienced, caring, compassionate, committed and dependable people. Being a Carer should be a positive and fulfilling experience, one where you are recognised and appreciated as a true care professional. We hope you will contact us to take the first steps towards a new career with Care Relief Team. Here is some information about what you can expect as a Carer working for us:

We provide full training, over and above the national minimum expectations so you do not need previous experience, although we do expect that all applicants have a passion and ambition to provide good quality care to adults and older people. We recruit both men and women who are aged over 18. It’s most desirable to us if you are a driver and have access to a vehicle suitable for use at work, however we do sometimes have vacancies for non-drivers too.

We will never expect you to work to unrealistic schedules, we allow for travel time and we don’t send carers from one end of town to the other. We recruit local people to work in their local community, caring for local people. We value our carers and understand the emotional challenges of the role, so we do our best to make sure you don’t have anything else to worry about.

We have well-supported, well trained and confident local teams of carers who have constant access to someone who can provide advice and reassurance 7 days per week. Each team of community Carers’ have their own supervisor (Care Coordinator) who will provide day to day support, supervision and management. There’s also Team Leaders’ who works out in the community, they are able to meet up with you to discuss any additional support you need and talk about client needs and reviews.
